Thoughts and music. Formed in early 2016, SEED Ensemble is a ten-piece band led by alto saxophonist and composer Cassie Kinoshi. Combining jazz with inner-city London, West African and Caribbean influenced groove, SEED explores a blend of genres through both original compositions and arrangements.

Ruth Goller chose to bring Dave Derose's project Agile Experiments to Poplar Union on the 19th April 2018. It was a psychedelic musical adventure. Agile Experiments was started by Dave DeRose at the Agile Pizzaria in Brixton where he gathered different trios of musicians to improvise for an hour non-stop every week. This trio is: Ruth Goller: Bass; Dave Derose: Drums; George Crowley: Sax and electronics
